About Sheikh Mohammad Ayyub Asif
Sheikh Mohammad Ayyub Asif, born in London in 1995 to a Pakistani father and Moroccan mother, is a renowned Quran reciter. He discovered his talent at the age of 3, with his early teachings from his mother and grandfather. Sheikh Mohammad pursued advanced Quranic studies at Al-Azhar University in Egypt and is known for mastering maqamat and various Quranic recitations.
He has recited the Quran at prestigious events worldwide, including in front of Queen Elizabeth and at Trafalgar Square. After leaving a promising football career with Arsenal Football Club, Sheikh Mohammad fully dedicated himself to the service of the Quran. He now resides in Egypt, where he teaches Quranic sciences and vocal maqamat.
